THE SAME GOD WITH THE SAME MEN

"For I know that my redeemer lives and at the last, he will stand upon the Earth."

Job 19: 25

The notion that Biblical Characters had the lush of life compared to us people today might be a common belief but if we try to go about the pages in our book of life, it will reveal that we actually live similar lives.

Our circumstances are no different to that of theirs. One of those whom I follow is the life of Job, his life teaches us the angst of having a God like our father.

For me, Job remains to have a reputation as the perfect, rich kid, "#blessed", guy next door during the his time. In the story of Job, Satan tries to prove himself in whatever means he could think of and sometimes it builds up a feeling of agitation because it comes in our expense which often times lead to breakdowns (of which is the actual goal of the enemy) for us to reach to a point of questioning God in our lives.

On the other hand, its pretty funny because at the moment of chaos and gripe from the offensive end of the enemy putting so much effort to bring us down, our God right there, just sits back, grabs his popcorn and watches every turn of events. And in these moments we feel so helpless and feel that God hasn't actually done anything to win us over or totally absent.

The truth lies beyond the facade of an absent God. In reality, at the end of it all, when all the circumstances meet, the God whom satan challenges is the same God who is the master of the game.

Just like anyone of us, Job had hard times, too. He whined and even gave in to believing that God has forsaken him. He bantered and questioned and God's faithfulness, too. Sounds so familiar, right?

However, the point of difference in the story of Job is that, when he decided to stop pushing, it allowed God to move into his life. With this, Job experienced a turning-point that showed the real score about anything that tries to separate us from the God.
