Sometimes I love spending a lot of time in the comfort room...because theres a lot of time to reflect..  True or true!!?? Kidding aside, I came across a thought about a personality in the Bible who was called a certain name which gave the person his identity, at least in the world. The Bible personality "Jabez" is and will still be my inspiration for the rest of this work-while week. To simply put,  in the book of 1 Chronicles 4:9, Judah's son,  Jabez, was named "Jabez" because while his mother bore him, she was in pain.  So,  Jabez prayed and asked for God's blessing for him not to give pain to others, and God granted unto him. “BE INTENTIONAL.” It has been nearly 2 weeks since I have constantly been haunted by that sentence. Needless to say, I’ve had random nights and mornings just wandering in thought about it. In our day-to-day lives, we will find ourselves in sticky situations and we find ourselves questioning how we ever got into it despite exercising caution. or sometimes, situations led to us by people whom we endear the most and suddenly left us out during trials. In today's Gospel, the Lord has clearly instructed how we should respond to such situations which may require us to choose between standing for our faith and on the other hand, resorting to our own ways in finding recourse in all our own human capacity 'til we tire ourselves.   I have always lived my life in constant trial & error. I was always in for the hide and seek, eventually earlier in 2019 I decided to let go of things and explore some more. It turned out that as stable as people saw me then, I deliberately decided to hop off from it and take on the road less comforting, less travelled and more risky. Then it began; I made massive decisions that also created great changes in my life. I decided to quit my job which paid me very well, decided to induce my self to pressure in deciding to get into law school with a meager amount of finance which now I am not sure would suffice me to get through the year. Different sitatutions and environments require us to adjust time after time because we meet people of different frequencies. Everyday we get to deal with people of all sorts; some people are all sunshine and smiles, while some seem to have had spilled their coffee and inevitably had to miss their dose in the morning. In anyway, we still have to deal with them. Over the week, I have been contemplating about an unwed couple whom I deal with almost on a daily basis.
